I have been going to Joy for massages for over 10 years. I know also go to Erla for facials and massages and Barbara for nail services. I have ever tried a Sea Weed body wrap once and plan on trying more new things. I feel like everyone there is a friend or family and everything is so affordable I can treat myself a few times a year and as a full-time working mom that is so special and important to me!

Joy is ahhhmazing!!
Had a deep tissue massage by Joy Miller this morning. Dr.Parker, my chiropractor also located in Calera, referred me to her during my appt with him yesterday. Dr. Thomas Nolen referred me to Dr. Parker a year ago. I have badly deformed bones in the right side of my chest which have led to severe pain in my right shoulder blade. Joy was so incredibly accommodating. She listened carefully to my issues and did exactly what I asked for and needed. She also recognized another issue I have that I was unaware of because the pain is so great on my right shoulderblade that I just hadn't noticed anything else. It was a wonderfully relaxing and pain relieving experience. I was so relaxed afterwards, I actually went the wrong way to go home when I left and didn't realize it till I was 2 towns away from home! LOL. Anyways, I greatly recommend her especially for what all she did for me today. I'm positive she's perfect at everything else she does as well. As for me, I'm sticking with her for at least once a week deep tissue massages for a good while till we can get these muscles to not be so solidified and painful. Then I'm positive I will continue to see her for at the very least once a month. I just cannot tell y'all how great the service, atmosphere, Joy as a person and the pain relief was!! A major blessing for me!!

Without a doubt one of the best massage therapist I have ever been to. Very knowledgeable and gives the perfect massage. Makes me want to move to Calera. I go see her every time I’m in town. Perfect 10 out of 10.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT THIS SPA. ALIX IS SO GREAT.I HAVE BEEN COMING TO SEE HER ONCE A MONTH FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS NOW. SHE DOES A WONDERFUL JOB AND LISTENS WHEN I HAVE CERTAIN ISSUES GOING ON. MY HUSBAND LOVES COMING TO SEE THEM. GREAT PLACE AND ATMOSPHERE.

Review of Alix Teissere
I had my first experience with Alix yesterday and will definitely be coming back. I was hesitant to book a session as my last session with a therapist was unpleasant. I recently broke my leg rather badly last December, and even tho the pain from that has mostly passed, physical therapy has begun aggravating the pain and I don’t like having to rely on pain medication if I don’t have to. Alix not only did an amazing job with the massage, she helped put me at ease before the session and afterwards as well. I was nervous when I first got there, but quickly got over it and was able to relax. Even though this was my first time here, I felt like she was glad I was there and not just a client.

My experience was incredible ! I came in for a 50 minute facial because I’ve had some acne recently. I went in to the appointment with 9 blemishes, and woke up the next day with only one! Danielle made the experience incredibly relaxing, and she took time afterwards to research and recommend products that would work for my unique skin. I went and purchased what she recommended, and now my skin has never looked better! I will absolutely be returning to Spa22, and cannot thank them enough for improving my skin

Best Massages of my Life!
I found Spa 22 a couple of years ago after moving to Montevallo. The customer service, friendliness of staff and overall services are unmatched to any other place I’ve ever been. My Dad who lives in another state makes a point to see Joy every time he visits as now refuses to go to any other place to see any one else. My sister recently visited from Texas and had a massage from Jayma - she fell asleep on the massage table it was so good ha. I saw all of that to say if you’re looking for an amazing business with fantastic services please stop in and set an appointment with any of the amazing ladies that works there. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
